Thousand Islands Casino

The north end of the Island is 150 feet from the Canadian border.  Please keep in mind the proximity to Canada and bring your passport.  Also, please turn off data roaming on your cellular phones as it is common to pick up Canadian wireless providers while in New York and for guests to have large, surprise bills following time in the region.

Stores and Basic Needs:

This section is especially important for guests renting cottages in the Park and on Wellesley Island.

There is a very small grocery store without a licence to sell alcohol located within Thousand Island Park as well as two restaurants, a pub, post office, ATM machine and beauty salon.

There is one wine and spirits shop with a very limited selection on Wellesley Island, located by the bridge onto the island on your way into the Park.  It is adjacent to one of two convenience stores on the island, the other of which is on the road to Wellesley Island State Park.

Grocery stores and better stocked vendors can be found on the New York mainland, just over the bridge.  The towns of Alexandria Bay and Clayton, NY both have more stores and are accessible by boat and car from the island.
